How facts are verified
Facts come first from the operator's own pages: help centers, blogs and press releases. Partners come next, such as ride-hailing apps that carry a service, then regulators' statutes, bulletins and filings. If none of those confirms a fact, two independent news outlets must report it before it is published.
Anything resting on a single outlet or a secondary summary carries the label reported, with the publisher named. A reported item stays reported until a better source turns up. Every service row is re-checked weekly, and each page shows the date it was last checked.
Maps
Service-area outlines are traced from the maps operators publish and are labelled approximate. The operator's app has the final say on where a car will pick you up. Base map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, served via OpenFreeMap.
Independence
Robotaxi Atlas has no affiliation with Waymo, Tesla, Zoox or any other operator, and no operator pays for coverage. We do not publish invite or referral links for any ride app. The affiliate disclosure explains how the site earns money, and corrections can be sent through report a change.
