Reading the status labels
Driverless means anyone can book and nobody sits in the driver's seat. Driverless, waitlist means the cars are driverless but riders are let in from a sign-up list. Safety driver means an operator is on board, or rides are limited to employees and invited guests. Testing means cars are on the road with no public riders. Announced means plans only.
One city can hold several statuses at once. In Phoenix, for example, Waymo runs driverless rides while Zoox is still testing, so each city page shows a row per operator.
Which international cities appear
An international city appears only once its status has a source, from Dubai and Abu Dhabi to London and Tokyo. China is shown as a single entry covering several operators.
