Pony.ai serves Hamad International with a safety operator on board. The company says its Doha service includes an airport connection, as part of a fare-charging commercial pilot run with Mowasalat. Rides are booked in the Karwa app.
Since December 2025 the pilot has covered Old Doha and West Bay, including the Corniche, the National Museum of Qatar, the Museum of Islamic Art and Old Doha Port. Trained safety operators ride along on these trips. During the AEMOB forum on Sep 7 to 9, 2026, Pony.ai gave the public fully operator-free Gen-7 rides, but that was a demonstration, and the regular service still carries an operator. No other robotaxi company runs in Doha, so Pony.ai via Karwa is the only robotaxi option for an airport run.
Fares are charged in the pilot, but Pony.ai hasn't published a price list for Doha, so the quote in the Karwa app is the only figure to go by. The airport connection is part of the same pilot, with the same operator aboard.
